Moving with the winds
As many of you will know The Honeyclock has been for sale since February. Our buyer doesn’t seem to have found their way to us just yet however we are still hopeful they are on their way. In the mean time we have discovered we will need to vacate our current premises and so our last trading day in our current light filled shop will be Saturday 14 June, that’s about 6 weeks away.
If you are not on our mailing list or our ‘friend’ on Facebook, or following our ‘blog’ and you want to stay up to date with where we move to please send us your email address and we can add you to our ‘moving notification’ list and keep you fully informed and up to date with our movements.
In the meantime make sure you come in and see us and stock up on all your favourite goodies while stocks last

Play Silks
Play silks allow imaginations to create and flow with the changing moods of play.
Uses are limited only by ones imagination; Squares of 90cm can be used for flowing landscapes, table cloths or dress ups: cloaks, skirts or wraps. Squares of 53cm can be used for wrapping dolls or bundles of treasures or in the centre of a table. A rectangle length of 2.7m long can be used for draping over tables or frames to create forts, cubbies and private little enclosures, even over a bassinet, cot or bed. Each size is available in a range of plain and/or variegated colours.
Hand wash, hang dry. We find children love to wash these themselves in a sink or bucket outside. The silk feels different and interesting when wet!
Above image shows variegated colours – rainbow, sea, starry night, blossom and fire. For more information see our web page playcloths and silks.

Dolls for the imagination
For children dolls can represent many different experiences in life, from scared or happy to Mother or Father. They can be an opportunity to safely explore many parts of the world that surround them, inside and out. Our dolls are made from natural materials (cotton & wool) and so they are soft like us.
See our new DOLL page (under products) for the beautiful handmade dolls we stock in our shop.
Something for PUDDLES
With all this beautiful rain, watched over by sunshine, something to float in puddles is just what every child (big or small) needs. We have lots in stock, from self propelled, rolling & rocking, balloon powered or choose one of my favourites, our boat & docking station ($32.80). If you are living somewhere without puddles then all these boats are excellent in the bath tub, swimming pool or on a calm day, in the ocean, river or lakes.

Holiday Nourishment
With school holidays finally here, families are relaxing or getting ready for a trip away and those still working appreciate the lighter traffic and general ‘quietness’ that comes with holidays. Autumn brings a breathing out for all of us and we look towards those activities we’ve been wanting to learn or do but haven’t had the time. Finally we get the chance to find a great book to read or a new jigsaw for the table for everyone to help with, time for games and laughter, for creating with crafts of all sorts, drawing and painting, days full of imaginative play or time to gently enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of our shop with a cuppa and handmade organic delights.
